Deborah K. Shepherd, author of So Happy Together, was Empowering Women TV’s guest in one of our Maine-based studio for our Authors Series!
Deborah K. Shepherd is a former newspaper reporter and retired social worker who spent much of her career focused on the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault and the provision of services to survivors. She has a BFA in Drama from the University of Arizona and an MSW from Fordham University.
Her first novel, So Happy Together, was published in April, 2021 after she unearthed the manuscript she had originally written 30-years prior, yet had set aside as she pursued other paths. So Happy Together is set in the 1960s and 1980s, featuring a feisty and intelligent mother of three who leaves a marriage of 20 years to retrace a road not taken.
