Katharine is a social psychologist, organizational consultant, writer, psychotherapist, and has served for twenty years as managing partner of Ibis Consulting Group. While at Ibis, a diversity and organizational effectiveness firm, she consulted to corporations, universities and international agencies in the area of managing change, women’s empowerment, leadership and strategic planning.

Katharine is the author of The Gypsies: Wanderers in Time and Workplace Diversity. She recently released her newest book, Twenty-Seven Dollars and a Dream: How Muhammad Yunus Changed the World and What it Cost Him. The book is based on Muhammad Yunus. Katharine first met Muhammad, when she was in Bangladesh consulting for UNICEF.
