Empowering Women’s Founder “Twinkle” Marie Manning is attending and speaking briefly at this important event. It is her second speaking engagement for this cause in Concord, MA. Her friend C.C. King spearheads this local rising of Eve Ensler’s One Billion Rising Event. The theme for this year’s Concord-based gathering is “The Heart of Concord Beats for Justice.”
It takes place at Louisa May Alcott’s Orchard House on Friday, February 14th, 2014 at 3pm
Featured speakers will be Jan Turnquist, Executive Director of Alcott House, Rev. Tony Fisher, and a reading composed by Author Polly Peterson.
