In 2015, Empowering Women will begin hosting an Annual Awards event for its team members (producers, hosts, directors, marketing agents, and contributors, as well as special guests). The event will alternate in theme year to year and take place in the Hub locations.
“Twinkle” Marie Manning is also partnering with her friend and colleague, Debora Hutchison of Gusty Gals Inspire Me® to present unique awards for the courageous individuals in the Empowering Women movement. The first of these awards will be presented at Empowering Women’s Boston Hub in November 2015.
Honorees from the Boston Hub Awards will travel to Santa Barbara to spend the weekend with “Twinkle” Marie Manning at the 2015 International Women’s Festivals founded by the dynamic Patty DeDominic. There they will be joined by the Santa Barbara Hub’s Cast of Empowering Women Hosts and Ambassadors to film segments for the television show, engage with the community via a Hat & Scarf Day retreat, and to support the International Women’s Festivals in ways they can.
The March date has been selected to Celebrate Women’s Month and Affiliate Empowering Women Charter and Chapter locations will host similar recognition events throughout the month, often partnering with specific industry organizations and non-profits to single out individuals who are breaking barriers towards Empowering Women in monumental ways.
Empowering Women will partner with and support other providers of Women’s Recognitions and Awards, such as the American Riviera Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
